CSD Has Acquired Rite Lite Signs

CSD Has Acquired Rite Lite Signs

We’re excited to share some big news: Creative Sign Designs has acquired Rite Lite Signs, a full-service architectural sign manufacturer based in Concord, North Carolina. This marks our first strategic acquisition since our 2021 growth recapitalization with Heritage Growth Partners, and it’s a meaningful next step in our growth as a company.

Why This Matters for Our Customers

Rite Lite brings decades of experience in design, fabrication, and installation, and their addition strengthens what we can offer across the board. With this acquisition, we’re expanding our manufacturing capacity and broadening our reach across the Southeast, with improved coverage in key growth markets including Charlotte, Charleston, Raleigh, Atlanta, and Knoxville.

Together, we now serve an even wider range of industries, including healthcare, multi-family, entertainment, corporate, education, retail, government, and national brands. Rite Lite’s 50,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Concord gives us a second production location, and we’ll be strategically allocating work across both facilities based on capacity, expertise, and what each customer needs. The result is a stronger, more integrated platform, one that lets us deliver turnkey signage solutions from concept through completion, with consistent quality at scale, whether you’re a regional customer or a multi-site brand operating nationwide.

A Shared Set of Values

What made Rite Lite the right fit wasn’t just their capabilities or their footprint, it was the culture. Founders David and Tasha Catchpole built their business on a simple principle: take care of the customer. That, paired with a commitment to passion, collaboration, innovation, and integrity, made this partnership feel natural from the start. Bruce Saunders, Rite Lite’s General Manager, will continue to lead the business as it grows within the Creative platform.

“We are excited to welcome the Rite Lite team to Creative and begin this next phase of growth together,” said Jamie Harden, our CEO. “The combination brings together almost 80 years of experience and operating history and a shared commitment to quality, service and our people. This acquisition creates greater scale, stability and opportunity for our customers and employees alike.”

What’s Next

This acquisition reflects an approach we’ve taken deliberately: seeking out partners whose capabilities, customer base, and geographic reach position our business for long-term growth. Rite Lite checked every box. As we bring our teams together, our focus stays the same, delivering the quality, service, and craftsmanship our customers count on, now with even greater resources behind it.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this transaction possible, including our legal, financial, and advisory partners, and we’re looking forward to what’s ahead for the combined Creative and Rite Lite team.
