In 2026, Creative Sign Designs marks four decades of delivering signage that does more than direct people from one place to the next, it shapes the experience of the places themselves.
What began in 1986 with a focused mission and a commitment to quality has grown into something far larger: a national leader in architectural and environmental signage operating out of a 50,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Tampa, Florida, with a team of more than 150 dedicated professionals.
Where It Started
Creative Sign Designs was founded with a simple but durable belief, that quality matters and that clients deserve a partner who gets it right the first time. That belief shaped every decision in the early years, and it remains the operating standard today. From the initial needs assessment through fabrication and final installation, the CSD process has always been designed to protect the client’s investment and deliver results that hold up over time.

The growth of Creative Sign Designs reflects both the strength of the Tampa Bay market and the reach of a company that never stopped expanding its capabilities. Today, CSD serves clients across the Southeast and beyond, handling complex signage programs for healthcare systems, hospitality brands, corporate campuses, entertainment venues, multifamily developments, and more.

The 40th anniversary drew a heartfelt tribute from Tampa’s own Mayor Jane, who recognized CSD’s lasting impact on the city and its community:

A Tribute from Washington
Recognition of the milestone extended all the way to Capitol Hill. U.S. Representative Gus M. Bilirakis took to the floor of Congress to honor Creative Sign Designs and the leadership of its President and CEO, Jamie Harden.
The Congressman noted that CSD’s journey began with a focus on quality mailboxes before evolving under Jamie’s direction into a national leader in architectural signage, a trajectory that reflects both strategic vision and a relentless commitment to craft. He also recognized Jamie’s contributions beyond the business: his service as Past Chairman of the Tampa Bay Chamber and the CEO Council of Tampa Bay, and over 30 years of partnership with his family.
