Food insecurity is a complex issue, often seen hand in hand with housing, transportation, employment, or health troubles. To break the cycle, we need to address the issues creating struggles for our neighbors and create pathways to a better life. Our approach is to craft a one-stop-shop where a neighbor can get a meal, but also access to benefits assistance, basic health services, educational classes, job training, and connections to other nonprofits.

Overview
Creative Sign Designs (CSD) was initially contracted by Ryan Companies to handle the exterior signage for a new Feeding Tampa Bay (FTB) Corporate Headquarters. During the design phase, CSD engaged with FTB to finalize the exterior signage, which expanded into discussions about the interior signage. This led to the involvement of CSD’s Environmental Graphic Design (EGD) team, who were tasked with programming and developing a custom sign package for the interior.
FTB sought to create custom names for many of the interior rooms. CSD’s EGD team worked closely with FTB to ensure these names were accurately captured. An important aspect of the interior programming was the strategic placement of donor signage, which needed to be positioned effectively to reflect various donor levels and ensure a successful installation
In developing the designs, CSD took into account the building’s interior finishes and FTB’s branding. Standard room ID signs were designed to reflect the FTB brand, while donor signs were tailored to complement the building’s finishes. For the exterior, CSD used the opportunity to enhance FTB’s branding with directional and wayfinding signage.
Through a collaborative effort between FTB and CSD’s EGD team, a comprehensive signage package was created for the entire campus. This package not only reinforced the FTB brand but also added an upscale touch to the new corporate office.
Once the EGD process was finalized and the design package received FTB’s approval, CSD’s teams for permitting, production, and installation worked in unison to bring the designs to life, completing the project seamlessly.
